Avoiding Blade Breakage

  1. Center insert on spindle axis (off-center = lateral force = breakage)
  2. Rigid toolholder mounted close to turret
  3. Maintain feed (too low = rubbing, too high = overload)
  4. Coolant directed AT cut point
