16ER 1.5 ISO IC908
- 16 — IC (inscribed circle) in mm
- E — External thread (I = internal)
- R — Right-hand cutting
- 1.5 — Thread pitch in mm (or TPI for inch threads)
- ISO — Thread profile (also: UN, BSPT, NPT, NPTF, ACME, BSP, Whitworth, API)
- IC908 — Iscar carbide grade (Vargus uses Iscar grades, both IMC group)
